Three powerful ways that you can make your voice heard.

More than 2 million people in Gaza are suffering the devastating consequences of a relentless Israeli military offensive and blockade of food, water, and lifesaving essentials.

An immediate and permanent ceasefire is the most important first step, accompanied by full access for vital humanitarian aid.

Do you want to know how to help Gaza? Here are some ways you can stand in solidarity and make your voice heard.

How can I help Gaza: Donate to Oxfam's emergency appeal

The continuing Israeli bombardment and restrictions on access to Gaza has made any kind of large-scale humanitarian response impossible.

Israel is using food and water as weapons of war as well as intentionally blocking aid from entering Gaza and reaching the 2.1 million Palestinians in desperate need of basic resources, shelter and safety.

Despite huge obstacles, we’ve been responding with our partners, including the Palestinian Medical Relief Society, Juzoor for Health and Social Development, the Economic and Social Development Center of Palestine, the Palestinian Agriculture and Relief Commission, and the Palestinian Development Association.

In collaboration with 20 partner organizations in Gaza, Oxfam has supported more than 1.1 million people with lifesaving assistance, including food assistance and hygiene support since October 7th.

  • Emergency food assistance, including vegetable baskets, food parcels, cash, and vouchers..

  • Clean water and sanitation, by trucking in water and repairing badly damaged water and wastewater pipelines, as well as installing desalination units and tap stands and latrines.

  • Oxfam helped partners in Gaza distribute hygiene kits, jerry cans and buckets for storing clean water, and other hygiene items to people affected by the conflict in Gaza.

As soon as a ceasefire is in place and crossings into Gaza are re-opened, we will work with partners to scale up our humanitarian response.

How can I help Gaza: Call for a ceasefire now

Your voice matters, and our collective voice is powerful.

Join us in calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire and:

  • Free all hostages being held captive by Hamas;

  • Facilitate the delivery of lifesaving assistance, including food, medical supplies, and fuel as well as safe passage of humanitarian and medical staff;

  • Allow patients in critical condition to be medically evacuated for urgent care.

By keeping the pressure up together we have the best chance of convincing the U.S. government and the international community to do everything they can to help bring an end to this catastrophic crisis.

How can I help Gaza: Tell the U.S. to stop arming Israel

Since October 2023, civilians in Gaza have been experiencing a severe humanitarian crisis. Independent research conducted by Oxfam and Human Rights Watch has revealed that Israel is utilizing U.S. arms in violation of both international and U.S. law, while also impeding humanitarian aid from reaching people in great need.

The Biden administration should follow U.S. law and immediately end lethal arms sales to Israel. The U.S. government is complicit in this catastrophe until it stops fueling the conflict with arms and military support.

Stopping arms transfers is an important step towards securing the permanent ceasefire that people desperately need.
