Here’s how you can help people in Gaza recover from the conflict.

The people of Gaza are clinging to a fragile ceasefire. Maintaining the ceasefire is critical to save lives in the short term but must also pave the way for a sustainable peace and genuine reconciliation.

Aid is now entering Gaza, but the volume is far below what is needed to meet urgent humanitarian needs. Oxfam is now scaling up its work in Gaza to assist partner organizations, people displaced by the conflict, and those on the move and choosing to return to their homes.

Do you want to know how to help Gaza? Here are some ways you can stand in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.

With the support of people like you, Oxfam plans to reach 500,000 people as soon as we’re able. Over the next three months, we will focus on a range of emergency interventions including:

  • Food
  • Clean water
  • Access to hygiene items, including menstrual products
  • Rehabilitation of water and sanitation systems and wells
  • Solid waste management
  • Training and supplies for home gardens to help people grow vegetables
  • Support for survivors of gender-based violence

Despite increased food shipments into Gaza, many cannot afford the food available in markets, and are suffering from hunger.

Despite huge obstacles, we’ve been responding with our partners, including the Palestinian Medical Relief Society, Juzoor for Health and Social Development, the Economic and Social Development Center of Palestine, the Palestinian Agriculture and Relief Commission, and the Palestinian Development Association.

In collaboration with 20 partner organizations in Gaza, Oxfam has reached more than 1.2 million people with lifesaving assistance since the start of the war, including 800,000 people who have benefited from our water, sanitation, and hygiene work.

How can I help Gaza? Demand lifesaving aid for Gaza now

The recent announcement of the first stage of a ceasefire deal in Gaza marks a major step forward in ending this war and alleviating suffering after two years of loss and destruction. Now comes the critical opportunity to save lives and create a peaceful future for all Palestinians and Israelis.

That’s why it’s so urgent to immediately increase the flow of lifesaving aid across every sector in Gaza, to save as many people as possible.

Add your name calling on President Trump to help ensure that families in Gaza receive the lifesaving aid they need to recover and rebuild their lives in safety and dignity
