Here’s how you can help people in Gaza recover from the conflict.
More than 2 million people in Gaza have been suffering through the devastating 20-month Israeli military offensive, near total siege, and blockade of food, water, and lifesaving essentials.
Now more than five months since the Israeli government began enforcing a comprehensive aid blockade of the Gaza strip in early March, famine is confirmed in Gaza City and nearby areas, and is projected to expand to Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis by the end of September.
Oxfam is closely following the movement of the people and will continue to address their basic needs. Oxfam's early recovery work will focus on clean water and hygiene, food, support to rebuild, livelihoods and protection.
Do you want to know how to help Gaza? Here are some ways you can stand in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.
How can I help Gaza? Donate to Oxfam's emergency appeal

Israel's bombing campaign and the systematic blocking of aid we have witnessed over the past year plus have resulted in tens of thousands of Palestinians being killed, entire communities obliterated, and the very fabric of Gaza shattered.
The Israeli government has used food and water as weapons of war and has intentionally blocked aid from entering Gaza and reaching the 2.1 million Palestinians in desperate need of basic resources, shelter and safety.
Despite huge obstacles, we’ve been responding with our partners, including the Palestinian Medical Relief Society, Juzoor for Health and Social Development, the Economic and Social Development Center of Palestine, the Palestinian Agriculture and Relief Commission, and the Palestinian Development Association.
In collaboration with 20 partner organizations in Gaza, Oxfam has reached more than 1.15 million people with lifesaving assistance since the start of the war, including:
- Emergency food assistance, including vegetable baskets, food parcels, cash, and vouchers.
- Clean water and sanitation, by trucking in water and repairing badly damaged water and wastewater pipelines, as well as installing desalination units and tap stands and latrines.
- Oxfam helped partners in Gaza distribute hygiene kits, jerry cans and buckets for storing clean water, and other hygiene items to people affected by the conflict in Gaza.

How can I help Gaza? Call for a permanent ceasefire now
The U.S. government is in a unique position to push for the protection of civilians and a lasting end to the fighting that results in real, sustainable security for Palestinians and Israelis.
Join Oxfam in demanding a permanent ceasefire, the secure release of all hostages, and unhindered access to humanitarian aid.

How can I help Gaza? Send a message to end Israel's deadly siege to prevent starvation in Gaza
Since early March, Israel’s near total blockade has stopped all but a trickle of humanitarian aid from getting into Gaza. This siege is preventing food, water, and medical equipment from reaching civilians who urgently need these and other essentials to survive.
Join Oxfam in urging the Trump administration to pressure the Israeli government to end its deadly siege on Gaza so civilians can access humanitarian aid now.

How can I help Gaza? Urge Congress to stop arming Israel
U.S. arms sales to Israel are fueling the crisis in Gaza. Israel is using U.S. weapons in attacks that violate international humanitarian law and have killed thousands of children, aid workers, and journalists; destroyed schools, hospitals, vital infrastructure for clean water; obstructed aid, and displaced nearly two million Palestinians in Gaza, where nowhere is safe.
Sign the petition to urge Congress to stop arming Israel now.
