Jason Farr
Senior Policy and Program Advisor for Just Energy Transition
Jason Farr is the senior policy and program advisor for just energy transition with Oxfam America's Climate Justice Team. Jason serves as a focal point on energy issues, particularly in relation to policies, governance, and finance that impact countries and communities in the Global South and supports the energy work of the Oxfam confederation more broadly.
Previously he served as an International Financial Institutions Policy Fellow for Oxfam International, where he conducted research and advocacy work on the World Bank and other IFIs. Before joining Oxfam International, Jason was a program associate at the Institute for Educational Leadership, where he administered U.S. government grants for national programs serving youth with disabilities and at-risk youth.
He has a master’s degree in Global Environmental Policy from the School of International Service at American University and a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Michigan State University. He is a Fellow of the Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI) and has a Certificate in Climate and Renewable Energy Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
