- Are multiple proposals allowed for submission on behalf of one organization?
Yes, but they must be submitted separately. - There was no reference to funding or budget in the proposal request; is there a budget cap?
We cannot guarantee a certain amount at this time but it could possibly be in the range of $50,000. Again, that is only speculation and could change depending on many factors. Of those proposals that enter into the second round (July-September 2014), they will be asked to provide a complete budget within set funding parameters. - Is the lead organization expected to partner with other organizations [internationally or locally based]? Can lead organizations applying for this proposal submit as a team effort with another organization or have a sub-contract partnership?
We welcome all type of teams but it is encouraged that the lead organization has strong ties to the community (ies). Yes, sub-grants are allowed. - Are there any geographic restrictions or priorities on where this project can take place?
All geographies are welcome at this time. - What is the timeframe for implementation?
Between January-December 2015. - Do the selected organizations get a grant to implement the Getting it Right HRIA tool?
Yes, they are given a grant by Oxfam and Oxfam provides support and advisory services throughout the life of the HRIA process. - Are there any projects that Oxfam will not fund?
Oxfam reserves the right to decline funding particular projects but we welcome all proposals at this point. - Can Oxfam provide technical assistance to install the Getting it Right tool onto my computer?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide this support at the time. The tool is available here (English, French, and Spanish): http://hria.equalit.ie/en/index.html. - What will the selection process look like?
Round One is from April-May 2014: All proposals accepted through the online form in English, Spanish, and French. 10 top proposals will be selected by an internal Oxfam team.
Round Two is from July-September 2014: The top 10 finalists will be invited to submit a full proposal either online or in a Word document with a deadline of around early to mid-September.
Round Three is from September-December 2014: One finalist will be chosen from the top 10.
January 2015: Implementation begins. Orientation training for the research team will be facilitated by Oxfam in country where the HRIA is to be conducted. Oxfam technical support and guidance to the research team will be ongoing in 2015 - Who should I contact with my questions?
