She earned her B.A. in African American Studies from Emory University, where she co-founded All Black Emory to foster dialogue and advocacy for marginalized experiences. In her hometown of Kennesaw, Georgia, Nadya organized a protest that drew over 3,000 people to demand the removal of Confederate regalia from city property, raising community funds to supply participants with food, water, and safety essentials. Her work ensures that vulnerable populations feel heard and represented in ways that uplift them. Stories have the power to shape policy, shift perspectives, and foster community; Nadya is committed to helping BIPOC frame theirs with dignity, nuance and honesty.
