Diya has over 2 decades of research experience on gender equality and women’s rights. For the past decade she has been working extensively on the Care Economy and Female Labour Force Participation. She has many publications to her credit including a number of media articles. As Head of Research at Oxfam India, Diya spearheaded the Oxfam India Inequality Report for 4 years and also was a contributing author for a couple of years. This flagship report received substantial media coverage—especially the one on Jobs and Employment. Diya has also presented her work in prestigious international panel discussions at Duke University in the USA; Universities of Oxford, Warwick, York in the UK and the Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland.
