A solidarity space organized by the Reparations Coalition and open to organizations from both the Global North and South that advocate for the right to climate reparations. This gathering will strengthen collaboration, exchange experiences, and advance collective efforts toward climate reparations as a response to loss and damage. The Right to Cool: Heat, Labor and Human Rights in Global Supply Chains (sold out)

As temperatures across the globe are rising, heat in the workplace is becoming a central climate and public health challenge. From agriculture to construction to logistics, extreme heat poses a major risk to workers’ health and to supply chain resiliency. Oxfam will join experts from business and civil society to explore the impacts of heat stress and interventions that corporations can implement to help mitigate the negative impacts of heat in their supply chains. Advancing Climate Reparations for Loss & Damage | Closed Door Event

This convening will bring together U.S. and Latin American civil society organizations alongside philanthropic leaders to:

• Deepen understanding of climate reparations for loss and damage as a core justice issue.
• Explore opportunities for resource mobilization and philanthropy.
• Strengthen collaboration between U.S. and Latin American partners.

Through interactive sessions, small-group dialogues, and collective action exercises, participants will co-create strategies and identify pathways for sustained engagement. By the end of the session, we aim to build a shared narrative, agree on advocacy milestones, and establish ongoing partnerships between funders and civil society organizations.

From Risk to Resilience: Financing DRR–Climate Action in Fragile and Conflict-Affected Settings | Closed Door Event

This invitation-only roundtable will bring together philanthropic foundations, private sector corporations, and humanitarian and development organizations to share knowledge and foster relationships across sectors that do not often engage directly on Disaster Risk Reduction in fragile and conflict-affected settings (FCAS). This convening will explore DRR as a practical and high-impact entry point for climate action in fragile and conflict-affected settings (FCAS), with four interconnected themes:

1. The prevention and investment case for DRR: why investing before disasters occur generates higher returns than repeated crisis response.
2. The climate–conflict–fragility nexus: understanding how climate, disaster risk, and fragility interact, and what this means for financing and implementing strategies.
3. Locally led resilience and anticipatory action: practical approaches that strengthen community resilience, improve early action and prevent maladaptation.
4. Financing pathways: how climate finance, philanthropic funding, private capital, and humanitarian financing can better support DRR outcomes in FCAS.

Shifting Power: Young Women in Climate

Oxfam is supporting Black Girl Environmentalist and EmpoderaClima in a panel conversation and networking reception during New York Climate Week. The event will bring together young women leaders, climate advocates, funders, and other members of the climate and social impact community for an intergenerational conversation on the intersection of climate change, gender, youth leadership, and movement funding.

The program will begin with a panel discussion from 9:00–10:00 AM, followed by a networking reception from 10:00–11:00 AM. Doors will open at 8:30 AM.
