Value chain resilience in a time of increasing climate uncertainty

An invite-only event on the first day of Climate Week NYC

As drought, heat waves and extreme storms continue to plague the globe this year, climate scientists are warning that this is what climate change looks like. But scientists are not the only ones who see how costly and dangerous the impacts of increasingly severe weather can be. Business leaders are already experiencing how extreme weather events are impacting global and US supply chains and business operations.

Please join Swiss Re, Oxfam America, and PREP on the first day of Climate Week NYC for an invite-only event that brings together companies and NGOs to discuss how businesses can best assess and prepare for the risks and opportunities posed by climate change and how businesses can build resilience in partnership with communities. We will hear from companies that are already beginning to address escalating risks to their operations and supply chains as well as companies that are tapping into emerging market opportunities associated with a changing climate. The event will be followed by a networking reception.
