Vinod leads a team that attracts, nurtures and retains global talent at Oxfam to help end the injustice of poverty. His team ensures that individuals are positioned for success and given the opportunity to develop, grow and access resources needed to transform the world into a more just and equitable place for all. 

At Oxfam, he helped launch Saving for Change, an innovative microfinance program which leverages the power of human capital and personal relationships, to enable more than half a million people in 5 countries save more than $13 million. Prior to joining Oxfam in 2004, Vinod worked in both the private and social sector with positions at Citibank, Catholic Relief Services and SEWA Bank. He teaches a course in microfinance at Brandeis University and has served as a mentor to startups from the Hult Prize, the MIT IDEAS Challenge and the Heller Startup Weekend. Vinod holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mumbai University and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management - Calcutta.
