Paula understands the needs of people who are less fortunate, deprived, and unstable but she pushes to be the vessel that God has led her to be.

Paula is a constant warrior in fighting poverty. She continues to feed those in need even when she has less. Her constant struggle is not having the wealth that most have but chooses not to share. She feeds women from all walks of life and participate in other activities with them. She pushes herself to be involved with children so they know that someone understands their pain and care about their wealth. She embodies all what every Christian should hold a value of and do, and that's treat others as you would like to be treated.

This story was submitted as part of Oxam America's International Women's Day initiative to honor women working to right the wrongs of poverty and hunger. Honorees are selected independently by Oxfam supporters. Selection does not imply endorsement or other support from Oxfam America.
