Oxfam America

2006 Middle East Conflicts

Oxfam is working to prevent public health crises in war-torn Lebanon and Gaza by supplying clean water, sanitation systems, and electrical generators; in Gaza we are also helping families improve their diets and incomes through small-scale agriculture. In Israel, we have been working with local partners to assist vulnerable groups whose livelihoods were damaged by the Israel/Hezbollah war.
