Oxfam America Reaction to Bush-Blair Talks

"The President has signaled the US's support for a UN resolution on the cessation of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah. While this is a positive step, the US government must go much further and back the international community's call for an immediate cease-fire to stop the killing and human suffering. Immediacy is what is needed, not more discussions and delays. Every day the shelling and bombing continues is a day too many," said Oxfam America's Deputy Advocacy Director Krista Riddley.
