Main Tasks:
- Assist Major Gifts Research Officer with administrative tasks.
- Assist Major Gifts Research Officer with research projects including updating and maintaining a research resource library.
Qualification needed:
- A desire to learn about fundraising and fundraising research.
- A goal of helping Oxfam carry out its mission.
- Free eveining hours Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, from approximately 5:30pm-8:30pm.
- Ability to attend to detail.
Language skills:
- English – good spelling, grammar, and writing skills.
IT skills:
- MS Office and database experience, including data entry.
Other essential and/or desirable skills and experience:
- Strong knowledge of U.S. states and cities.
- Resourcefulness and self-motivation.
Required availability per week (inc. specific time/days if relevant):
3 hours per night, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings
