Oxfam America

Financial Information

Oxfam America seeks to operate efficiently and to minimize fundraising and administrative costs. In 2005, Oxfam America allocated more than 84 percent of its expenditures for development programs and emergency relief. Between 1995 and 2004, Oxfam America allocated an average of 77 percent of its expenditures for those same activities. During this same period, at least 90 percent of funds designated by donors for humanitarian emergencies directly supported our relief efforts for those emergencies. We strive to exceed or maintain these standards each year.
