Anquan Boldin

Anquan Boldin, one of the NFL’s brightest stars and most dedicated humanitarians, traveled with Oxfam to Ethiopia in March 2012. Having spent years inspiring others and changing the lives of people at home, Anquan is committing himself to helping his friends around the world.

Anquan Boldin

Known as much for his work on the field as off, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Anquan Boldin has worked tirelessly to give back to the community where he grew up. In his second year in the NFL Anquan began the Anquan Boldin "Q81" Foundation, with a mission to bring hope to underprivileged children.

Well-known throughout the league for his work ethic, his character, and his professionalism, Anquan is also known for his generosity, as evidenced by his charitable activities in Arizona when he was with the Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore with the Ravens, and his home state of Florida. To honor Anquan for his work to improve the community, the Pahokee, Florida Middle/High School stadium was recently named the Anquan Boldin Stadium.

In March of 2012, in response to a severe drought in Ethiopia, Anquan traveled with friend and former teammate Larry Fitzgerald to Ethiopia to visit Oxfam programs and bring attention to the need in the region. Together Anquan and Larry visited people and communities working hard to rebuild, and carried the stories of the people they met back home, appearing on multiple news outlets including CNN, Yahoo News, CBS Radio, Sports Illustrated and others.
