Oxfam Village Sweepstakes Rules

NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. A PURCHASE OR DONATION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF ONE OF THE 50 UNITED STATES OR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE AT DATE OF ENTRY.

There are three methods of entry.

First: All eligible persons who donate to Oxfam America through the Oxfam Village Personal Fundraising Page will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes and any such donation is considered an entry for the purposes of these rules.

Second: To enter by mail please send your full name, email address (if any), telephone number and zip code to:  Attention: Weekly Oxfam Village Sweepstakes, Oxfam America, 226 Causeway Street, 5th Floor, Boston, Massachusetts 02114.

Third: All persons who make a pledge to Oxfam America at https://www.snoball.com/give/1tk3r (“Snoball”) will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes and any such pledge is considered an entry for the purposes of these rules.

Sweepstakes opens on September 10, 2012. For the avoidance of doubt, pledges through Snoball will be accepted starting on November 6, 2012, and the first weekly drawing that entrants through Snoball will be eligible for is the drawing on December 3, 2012.

All Sweepstakes entries must be complete. To be eligible for a weekly drawing, entries must be received by 11:59 pm on the Sunday prior to such drawing. Mechanically reproduced entries will not be accepted. Entries are limited to one per person, regardless of method of entry. Any person who (1) makes more than one donation through the Oxfam Village Personal Fundraising Page, (2) submits more than one entry by mail, and/or (3) makes more than one pledge through Snoball will receive only one (1) Sweepstakes entry. In the event of a dispute, an online donation entry is deemed made and authorized by the authorized account holder of the credit card with which the donation was made.

The Sweepstakes prizes will be awarded by random drawing each Monday starting on September 17, 2012 and ending on December 10, 2012. Prizes are as follows:

Grand Prize One: Grand Prize One is two (2) tickets to an Arizona Cardinals game in the 2012-2013 season to be determined by Oxfam and the winner of Grand Prize One, two (2) roundtrip coach class airfare tickets from anywhere in the continental United States to the nearest airport to the stadium in which the chosen game will take place, and one (1) night accommodation at a 4-star hotel in the city in which the chosen game will take place. Meals, transportation to and from the winner’s home airport (including transportation to and from an airport in the continental United States if the winner resides in Alaska or Hawaii), ground transportation in the city in which the game will take place and other incidental costs are not included in Grand Prize One.

Grand Prize Two: Grand Prize Two is two (2) tickets to a Baltimore, Ravens game in the 2012-2013 season to be determined by Oxfam and the winner of Grand Prize Two, two (2) roundtrip coach class airfare tickets from anywhere in the continental United States to the nearest airport to the stadium in which the chosen game will take place, and one (1) night accommodation at a 4-star hotel in the city in which the chosen game will take place. Meals, transportation to and from the winner’s home airport (including transportation to and from an airport in the continental United States if the winner resides in Alaska or Hawaii), ground transportation in the city in which the game will take place and other incidental costs are not included in Grand Prize Two.
Total prize value for all prizes is approximately $3,200.

Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. All other expenses relating to acceptance of any prize not explicitly stated herein, if any, are the responsibility of the winner.

All eligible entrants who do not win a prize will be automatically entered into each drawing following the date of such entrant’s entry. All prize winners will be removed from any subsequent drawings in this Weekly Oxfam Village Sweepstakes.
The odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received by 11:59 pm eastern time on each Sunday prior to the following Monday’s drawing. Making a donation will not increase the odds of winning. Entrants need not be present at drawing to win.  Winner will be notified by e-mail or phone and will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability by fax or email within 48 hours of notification. Winner’s guest in the case of the winners of Grand Prize One and Grand Prize Two will also be required to sign and return a Release of Liability, provided, however, that if such guest is under the age of 18 years old, the Release of Liability must also be signed by a parent or guardian of the guest.

In the event of non-compliance with eligibility or release requirements, or in the event winner cannot be reached at the email address on winner’s entry or does not reply within 48 hours, the prize will be returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, and the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner by random drawing. If either the Grand Prize One or Grand Prize Two winner cannot take the trip on available dates in the 2012-2013 NFL season, such winner will forfeit the prize and the Sponsor reserves the right to select a new winner by random drawing. In the event that the chosen game is canceled, relocated or rescheduled (or, if for any reason, Sponsor is unable to provide tickets to the chosen game) the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to the applicable Grand Prize winner other than a prize of equal or greater value, which alternative prize may, but is not guaranteed to, include tickets to an Arizona Cardinals or Baltimore Ravens game, as applicable, along with the applicable air and hotel accommodations, in the 2013-2014 NFL season. In the event that the Sponsor is unable to provide any weekly prize winner with the specified prize, the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to such prize winner other than to provide a replacement prize of equal or greater value.  
No prize substitutions are allowed, and prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or other consideration.

Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name, likeness, and photo for promotional and publicity purposes at no additional compensation unless prohibited by law. Winners’ names may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Attention: Weekly Oxfam Village Sweepstakes, Oxfam America, 226 Causeway Street, 5th Floor, Boston, Massachusetts 02114.  Winner is solely responsible for any local, state or federal taxes, and any other fees or costs connected with any prize. By accepting any prize, winner releases Oxfam America and its respective employees and agencies, representatives, affiliates and subsidiaries, and the advertising and promotion agents of each of the above, from all claims and liability of any type whatsoever relating to the Sweepstakes or the applicable prize.

Oxfam America assumes no responsibility for any damage to an entrant's computer system which is occasioned by accessing the personal fundraising page, making a donation, or otherwise participating in the Sweepstakes, or for any computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature.  Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Oxfam America is not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, misprinted, late, lost, damaged, stolen, or (if applicable) postage-due submissions or award notifications; or for lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet Service Providers, web sites, or other connections; or for miscommunications, failed, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions; or for any technical malfunctions, failures, or difficulties, printing errors, clerical, typographical or other error in the offering or announcement of the award or in any award notification documents, or other errors of any kind or nature; or for the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information.

All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Oxfam America, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors and assigns and their respective employees, Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, and immediate family members or household members of each of the above are not eligible to participate.
Administrator, in its sole discretion, may disqualify any entrant from participation in or use of any or all portions of this Sweepstakes, and may refuse to award the prize or any part of the prize, if entrant engages in any conduct Administrator deems to be improper, unfair or otherwise adverse to the operation of this Sweepstakes or detrimental to other entrants of this Sweepstakes.
All Sweepstakes entrants, at the time they enter the Sweepstakes, agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
