Donate to Oxfam's work by having someone give in your name or organize a Fast.
Have Others Give in Your Name
Consider asking friends and family to make gifts to Oxfam in lieu of gifts to you for your wedding, birthday, graduation, bar/bat mitzvah, or any other special occasion.
You can collect the checks yourself and mail them to us. Just include a note indicating that you've raised money for Oxfam in lieu of gifts for yourself. Alternatively, others can mail a check made payable to Oxfam America (with a reference to your name, address, phone number, and the occasion) to:

Join the Fast
In 1974, Oxfam America began the Fast for a World Harvest to spread information and concern about world hunger. Today, Fast events are held in thousands of communities across the US, educating concerned citizens about hunger, poverty, and social injustice.
Individuals and groups run Oxfam Hunger Banquets, fairs, walks, and all kinds of creative events to benefit Oxfam's work. You can organize your own fundraiser at any time and send the proceeds to Oxfam America. Join the Fast.
