The Western Mining Action Network's (WMAN) mission is to foster and support a strong network that protects communities, land, water, air, and wildlife by reforming mining practices and holding government and corporations accountable. WMAN is a critical forum for mining activists and concerned citizens in the US, Canada, and indigenous communities. WMAN's goals are to foster strong relationships and mutual support among its members and to strengthen the capacity of the mining activist movement to be successful in all of its endeavors.
