Terrebonne Readiness and Assistance Coalition (TRAC) was formed after Hurricane Andrew made landfall in Southeast Louisiana in 1992 to coordinate relief efforts. TRAC believes that communication and tracking are essential to ensure that no one is missed and that services are not duplicated during disaster relief operations. It serves as a convener and administrative body for a network of church, government, business, civic and social service agencies involved with disaster relief. TRAC's mission is to assist individuals, families and communities to rebuild following a disaster, to help navigate recovery plans for those affected, and to strengthen planning and preparation for future disasters and empower people organizing to dramatically improve life in their communities.
