Louisiana Environmental Action Network (LEAN) is a statewide network of 106 member groups and 1700+ individual members working to improve the environment for the benefit of all of the citizens of Louisiana. As a statewide umbrella organization, LEAN provides its member groups, as well as individual citizens, with the support and resources required to accomplish their environmental goals. LEAN's mission is to foster cooperation and communication between individual citizens and corporate and government organizations in an effort to assess and mend the environmental problems in Louisiana. LEAN's goal is the creation and maintenance of a cleaner and healthier environment for all of the inhabitants of the state.
