Founded in 1967, the Farm Labor Organizing Committee (FLOC), a union of migrant and seasonal farmworkers, seeks to address the basic power relationships that drive modern agriculture. FLOC advocates for farmworkers of primarily Mexican descent, seeking higher wages and better living and working conditions through tripartite contracts with the company, growers, and FLOC.
