Eastern Navajo Diné Against Uranium Mining (ENDAUM) is a grassroots organization seeking to prevent the development of new uranium mines on the Navajo reservation in New Mexico. Located in Crownpoint, New Mexico, the organization represents citizens concerned that the proposed mines would contaminate the drinking water source used by 15,000 people. ENDAUM has also fought for government assistance for people suffering from health problems caused by decades of uranium mining. ENDAUM is committed to preserving the purity and quantity of water for future generations of the Navajo people.
