Coco McCabe's Darfur Diary
As her travels continued in Africa, Oxfam America’s Coco McCabe flew from Ethiopia to Darfur to meet with some of the thousands of people who have been displaced over the past few years. As part of a team of Oxfam staffers, Miriam Aschkenasy, Oxfam America’s Public Health Specialist, visited programs in Eastern Chad. Addressing human rights, public health, and policy issues, the team was able to gather information on programs to feed into Oxfam America’s work, including the new public health sector.
