Mansfield, MA: Close to Oxfam HQ

Oxfam America staffer Najat El Sayed is traveling with Make Trade Fair campaign volunteers on Coldplay's "Twisted Logic" concert tour.
August 6, 2005 -- We are not to far away from the headquarters of Oxfam America: Boston, home of so much of American history and the oldest running subway system.
Everyone showed up on time, pumped up and ready to go canvassing even before their training. We went over logistics for the night but didn't spend much time on the Make Trade Fair campaign as almost everyone on the team has worked with the campaign before and is well versed on the issues.
We all went out with our smiles and warm hearts, talking to people about our experiences with the campaign and using our personal backgrounds to really create that bond with the fans.
Every time I checked in with volunteers, I was rejuvenated by everyone’s spirit and drive. The team reached out to almost 20 percent of audience!
