Join CHANGE
If you are willing to invest time and energy to build your skills and awareness of social justice issues, you can make a CHANGE in our world. You have to CHANGE the way you see the world and act on a global level.
To Qualify for CHANGE
- You must be a college student entering your sophomore or junior year at a US-based college or university and be a student for the full year.
- You will need a campus adviser to write a recommendation and support your work on campus. An adviser can be any staff or faculty member at your university.
- You must attend a week-long training program in Boston, MA. The training will take place July 19-25, 2008. All costs associated with food, lodging and travel to Boston for the training will be covered in full.
- You must be prepared to implement an Oxfam campaign on your campus or in your community.
To Apply
Please visit our CHANGE Application Page and create an account. From there, you can fill out a student application on our CHANGE Community. You will be asked to provide the contact information for your campus adviser.
Once you submit your application, your adviser will be sent an email asking him or her to fill out an online CHANGE adviser recommendation. Please remember, applications are not considered complete until both the student application and adviser recommendation has been submitted online.
The deadline for 2008-09 CHANGE Initiative applications is April 1, 2008.
