ACTAF is a professional association of agricultural specialists who have aggressively and creatively promote more sustainable production techniques in Cuba. Oxfam America has supported the Cuban Association of Organic Growers, a member group of ACTAF, in publications, international conferences, and demonstration plots. Currently, Oxfam is supporting ACTAF in a series of management training programs for cooperative managers and small farmers linked to forestry.
