Exclusive limited-editions of Good Grief, out March 11, will support Oxfam’s work
Oxfam America is proud to partner with Lucius on a limited-edition vinyl pressing for their new album, Good Grief, out March 11. The special edition vinyl will be exclusively available for purchase through independent record sellers across the country. A donation for every copy sold will be made directly to support Oxfam’s work to right the wrong of global inequality, poverty, and injustice. The vinyl will be pressed in a special translucent blue and the jacket sticker will feature Oxfam branding.
“Oxfam is so pleased to continue our partnership with Lucius in such a meaningful way with this special vinyl release. We’re always inspired by the artists we work with who are passionate about social justice, and to have smart music activists like Lucius and their fans on our team helps our collective voice be so much louder,” said Bob Ferguson, Oxfam America’s Music Outreach Project Manager.
Lucius is supporting Oxfam America’s campaign to end extreme inequality. Just 62 people own the same wealth as 3.5 billion people, half the world. This runaway inequality is trapping millions of people in extreme poverty. Oxfam’s inequality campaign aims to undo the rigged rules of our economic system that make it tough for hardworking people to get ahead. Lucius supports the campaign because it helps people living in poverty assert their rights to fix an unfair system.
"While income inequality is not a new problem, it’s one that deserves attention from everyone in the world.” - Jess Wolfe, Lucius
“It should be basic human instinct to ensure that all humans can live with fundamental needs, rights and dignity.” - Holly Laessig, Lucius
