GAPE is a Canadian-registered NGO established in 1999. GAPE supports activities that benefit people and the environment, taking an integrated and critical approach to community development issues in Southeast Asia. GAPE's board members have extensive community development experience in Lao PDR, and have clearly indicated that community-based education is an effective entry point to address environmental and community livelihoods concerns in Lao PDR.
