Publication Summary
Since the devastating Dec. 26 tsunami struck the shores of the Indian Ocean, Oxfam has undertaken the largest humanitarian response in our history. In the first nine months, we have reached 1.8 million people with assistance that has ranged from emergency food, water, and shelter to long-term programs aimed at rebuilding communities and restoring and improving the livelihoods of those in the greatest need. The Oxfam Tsunami Accountability Report details the way Oxfam has used our tsunami resources and outlines the challenges ahead.
