In the aftermath of disasters, Oxfam undertakes a host of hygiene-promotion activities in order to prevent the outbreak and spread of disease. But which are the most effective?
In 2011, we engaged the Swiss research institute Eawag to study the relationship between Oxfam hygiene promotions and safe hand-washing practices in Haiti in the wake of the earthquake and cholera outbreak of 2010.
