Maria Hinojosa, renowned journalist for the broadcast news magazine NOW on PBS and Heather Coleman, Senior Policy Analyst for climate change at Oxfam America, will present first-hand accounts on how people – whether poor communities in Bangladesh that are already implementing innovative solutions to the devastating effects of climate change, or world leaders preparing to debate legislation to address the crisis – are working to respond to this global crisis. We will also screen “Water World,” a 25-minute PBS documentary film about Maria Hinojosa’s recent trip to Bangladesh.
