Building a research program

This participatory action research program was the first of its kind for Oxfam, but it shows how research had the potential to make humanitarian response more effective at saving lives and helping people recover after a disaster.

In the spirit of transparency, and in the hope that other agencies will want to adopt and improve upon this model to increase their own effectiveness in humanitarian response, Oxfam would like to share our experiences and what we learned.
