What Oxfam is doing

Oxfam, in close collaboration with other agencies, is providing emergency water supplies to 100,000 civilians in the camps collectively known as Manik Farm.

We are digging trench latrines to meet urgent sanitation needs but will be replacing these with more robust structures as the situation stabilizes. We are also providing people with trash cans, camp cleaning kits, and hygiene kits, all designed to keep the crowded environment clean and prevent the outbreak and spread of disease.
