26 Reasons to Congratulate Gerard!
He did it! On November 2nd 2003, Gerard Fitzpatrick ran the New York City Marathon for Oxfam America, raising over $1,600 for our relief work in Ethiopia and showing the world that the plight of those living in poverty is not something to take sitting down.
Gerard completed his first ever marathon in 5 hours and 2 minutes. He has returned to his home in Bermuda with sore legs, great memories, and way more than 26 reasons to be proud of himself. Oxfam would like to congratulate Gerard on his incredible accomplishment.
