GW is a nonprofit NGO focused on developing integrated watershed management in Southwestern China. GW fosters participation, gender and social equality, poverty alleviation, environmental health, and constructive dialogue among government, community, academic, and NGO stakeholders. It combines a scientific orientation, a commitment to community-based management, and a firm grasp of the social and political context of western China to realize sustainable watershed development in the region.
