Five years on: Oxfam and partners rededicate themselves to Gulf

Oxfam’s partners and allies along the Gulf are using the lessons learned from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita to respond to the BP oil spill. Those storms spurred Oxfam America’s first relief and recovery effort in the US. Today, that effort has evolved into a long-term commitment to increasing community resiliency along the coast and ensuring that residents of the region are well equipped to continue the Katrina recovery, and build their communities back stronger than before.

Recovery and development in Haiti
